Major Trains Accident in Mujjaffurpur (UP), Kaling- Utkal Express Derailed

19.08.2017 : A shocking news has just come that Kaling – Utkal Express trains has been derailed in Mujjaffurpur, Uttar Pradesh at 5:50 PM today. As many as 6 bogies have been derailed. As Many as 34 people are injured. Railway has issued emergency helpline phone numbers 9760534054 / 5101.

No deaths have been reported by officials so far, but if sources are to be believed 5 passengers are dead. The accident took place in Khautali in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh which is around 100 kilometres from New Delhi.

Puri-Haridwar-Kalinga Utkal Express was headed from Puri in Odisha to Haridwar in Uttarakhand.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu Tweeted , “Have instructed Chairman Rly Board,Member Traffic to oversee rescue and relief operations.I am personally monitoring situation”

NDRF Tweeted,”NDRF teams mobilised for rescue operation at Khatauli railway station,Muzaffarnagr, U.P. where train accident took place.”
