The working president of All India Railwaymen Federation (AIRF) Mr. N. Kanniah had said that almost 40 lacs employees of railway go on strike from 11th July and will join strike along with Postal, Defense and other Central Govt. employees.
Mr. Kanniah said that the strike will not only be for wage settlement but also against privatization of railways and anti labour policies.
According to Mr. Kanniah, if government does not reverse the decision of privatization, railway freight and passenger fare will be increased and will suffering for poor man by private companies.
He further added that notice of strike has already been issued to General Manager, Southern Railway on 9th June.
